Ganderbal, Jun 22 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday said that peace and harmony must continue to prevail as ge offered prayers at Kheer Bhawani Temple in Tulmulla area of Gandarbal. Speaking with reporters, LG Sinha, per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that everyone prayed that peace and harmony remain in Jammu and Kashmir and that blessings of Mata Kheer Bhawani be upon everyone. He lauded the arrangements put in place for the smooth conduct of the mela. "I would like to compliment all those involved for the excellent arrangements made for the devotees," he said. Sinha said devotees have been visiting the shrine for decades to seek the blessings of the Goddess and participate in the annual mela, which holds immense religious and cultural significance—(KNO)
